Nathalie Mantha -
Nathalie Mantha holds two degrees from the University of Ottawa a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a Bachelors of Education. Prior to attending university Nathalie completed a college degree in visual arts during which time she explored a range of mediums.
For the last 19 years she worked as an art educator, combining her two loves, creating and teaching. Currently an Education Officer at the National Gallery of Canada, she works to develop opportunities for the public to engage and connect with artworks, both in studio and in gallery.
Her paintings, held in both private and corporate collections, are inspired by her interest and study of colour theory and composition. Focusing on flowers as subject matter, Nathalie freely layers and overlap’s intense hues, exploring not only the shape, and form of the flower but striving also to express an emotional landscape.
Nathalie lives in the Outaouais region with her husband and two children.
